报告摘要: For quasilinear partial differential equations and inequalities containing Kardar--Parisi--Zhang-type nonlinearities, results on the stabilization of solutions (for the parabolic and elliptic cases), blow-up of solutions, and other specific phenomena will be presented. On descriptive examples, the Bitsadze approach (technique of monotone maps) applied in this research direction will be demonstrated.
报告人简介: Andrey Muravnik is the Director of the Nikol'skii Mathematical Institute of RUDN University (Moscow, Russia). He has long been engaged in research on partial differential and functional-differential equations and related areas of analysis. He has succeeded in competitions for numerous research grants of Russian and international sources including INTAS, RFBR, RSCF, and Education and Science Ministry of Russia. Under his management, the Nikol'skii Institute has become the (unique) winner in the 2022 competition for Russian Federal Megagrant in Mathematics.
