报告摘要：In this talk we present necessary and sufficient conditions (in terms of Lojasiewicz inequalities) for the stability of local minimum points in smooth unconstrained optimization. In particular, we derive a sufficient condition for which the local minimum property of a given function is determined by its Taylor polynomial of a certain degree.

报告人简介：Tien-Son Pham，越南大叻大学（Dalat University）教授，博士生导师，长期从事奇异理论、半代数优化、变分分析等研究工作，在Math. Program., SIAM J. Optim., Math. Oper. Res.等优化顶级期刊发表学术论文70余篇，出版学术专著1部。2020年获越南科技部颁发的Ta Quang Buu奖，并入选2021年度“亚洲百位杰出科学家”榜单，现任越南高等数学研究所科学理事会成员。
