Abstract: In this talk, we consider deterministic homogenization for fast-slow systems, where the fast variables are generated by iterating a nonuniformly expanding map. We show that the slow variables, suitably scaled in time, converge to the solution of a stochastic differential equation. If time permits, we also give the rate of convergence in Wasserstein distance.
