报告摘要:The theory of knotoids was introduced in 2012 by V. Turaev [1]. He established basic properties of knotoids including several invariants of spherical and planar knotoids. It is known that planar knotoids are useful models of protein chains [2]. A three-variable transcendental invariant of planar knotoids was introduced in [3]. We will discuss properties of this invariant and demonstrate applications of its applications for calculating Gordian distance between planar knotoids. The talk is based on the joint work with W. Feng and F. Li, see [3].

报告人简介:Andrey Vesnin教授是俄罗斯科学院通讯院士、俄罗斯科学院西伯利亚分院索伯列夫研究所首席研究员,俄罗斯托姆斯克大学教授,主要从事双曲流形等方面的研究工作,是几何拓扑领域非常活跃的国际知名专家学者。曾担任俄罗斯高级认证委员会数学和力学专家委员会成员、托姆斯克国立大学科学认证委员会成员、俄罗斯科学基金会专家委员会成员、俄罗斯科学院数学项目专家、俄罗斯科学院西伯利亚分院委员会主任。
